I’m so excited to be planning and designing this year’s one-day seminars for BER – Bureau of Education and Research training for school librarians, media specialists, library aides and technology specialists. Thanks to the great ISTE conference in Philadelphia and my PLN, I have new ideas and resources to share with you plus new ways to use familiar applications and lessons.
Join me for learning about the new trends in school libraries this fall in the Northwest states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana. In December, I’ll be presenting in the Midwest states of Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin. We will explore digital tech tools, flexible learning spaces, diversity, equity and inclusion within the library, new ways to look at digital citizenship, advocating for your library using social media, focusing on reading literacy and more. Build change into your library program by focusing on the 4 C’s: create, communicate, collaborate, critical thinking plus the librarian’s 5th C – curation.
